About Chris Romero
(as a college freshmen, as a college senior)
I both a high school math teacher and the executive director of the Texas Quiz Bowl Alliance and am completing a PhD in Mathematics Education at Texas A&M University under the direction of Dr. Robert M. Capraro. A web based and very informal curriculum vitae is available. My research interests include: gaming and intrigue as a pedagogical tool, cognitive learning theories, and canon development. I am a quiz bowl player and along with my three Texas A&M teammates (Candace Benefiel, Susan Mitchell, and Trey Morris) won the Academic Competition Federation's 2006 National Championship.
